Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Your account email and password, handled by Supabase Auth (we never see or store your raw password).
• Whatever you choose to enter: profile details, resume/CV file, companies, applications, interview stages, and alert preferences.
• Standard technical metadata (IP address, timestamps) used only for rate-limiting and abuse prevention.

Where it's stored

All of your data lives in Supabase (Postgres database and file storage). Row-Level Security ensures the application can only ever return your rows to you — no other user's data is ever visible to you, and yours is never visible to them. The app itself runs on Vercel.

Third parties we use

• Resend — sends password-reset emails and, if you have active alerts, an optional daily digest of new job matches.
• Cloudflare Turnstile — a CAPTCHA check on login/signup to block bots; it may process your IP address for that check.
• Anthropic (Claude API) — only when you click "AI Assist" on an application, we send that application's role/company and your profile summary/skills to generate suggested notes. Nothing is sent to Anthropic unless you click that button.
• Adzuna and public company career pages — queried on your behalf to find job matches for your alerts; no personal data is sent to them, only your saved keywords/locations.

Sharing your data

By default nothing is shared. If you use the "Share" button on the Companies page, we generate a public read-only link showing only company name, website, career page, location, industry, and priority — never your applications, notes, or identity. You can revoke that link at any time.

Cookies

We use only the session cookie Supabase Auth sets to keep you signed in. No third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Deleting your data

Email us at help@jackonjob.com to request account deletion — everything tied to your account (profile, companies, applications, CV, alerts) is removed.

Changes

This policy may be updated occasionally; continued use of the app means you accept the current version.
